Congratulations to the Health Sciences, MAT, OTD, and PharmD Classes of 2026.
2025 CPHS Pinning Ceremony Program (will post soon!)
Dear A1, O2, P3, and 25-26 HSCI Intern students,
We look forward to celebrating your academic progress and welcoming you to the final phase of your education at the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Pinning Ceremony on Thursday afternoon, May 8 at 4:00 pm in Sheslow Auditorium, Old Main. This ceremony is a long-standing CPHS tradition designed to acknowledge your accomplishments and transition to your final year of experiential education.
Please note the following:
- Due to the exclusive nature of this ceremony, this in-person ceremony is for students only. We will have a livestream option available for family and friends to join us virtually. The livestream link will be posted on this webpage on the day before the event.
- Professional/business dress attire is expected. White or Blue Coats are not needed for this ceremony. (If you have questions about professional dress, let us know). Please be cognizant of heel height and skirt length, as you will be walking up and down stairs.
- Please arrive to Sheslow Auditorium by 3:45 pm and find your seat and name card.
- If any changes to your name card are needed, please mark them on the card as the information will be read as you cross the stage. Be sure to bring your name card with you to the stage.
- You will be ushered to the stage and announced. There will also be photos taken as you cross the stage and as a new name badge and pin are presented to you.
- If you are NOT able to attend this ceremony, please send an email to Shelby Nelson at shelby.nelson@drake.edu to let us know so that we can make proper preparations for the ceremony.
If you have any questions, please let Shelby know directly at shelby.nelson@drake.edu. Thanks and congratulations again on making it to this next step in your programs!
