Andrew is a 2017 graduate from Drake University College of Pharmacy and practices pharmacy in Eagle Grove, Iowa. While at Drake, Andrew was involved with NCPA, DeltaRx and DRxUGS and served in multiple leadership positions. His passion for entrepreneurialism was ignited while participating annually in the NCPA business plan competition and DeltaRx’s “Next Top Entrepreneur”.  He returned to Eagle Grove Pharmacy, where he got his first part-time job during high school as a delivery boy, and is now a pharmacist and partner with Mickey Cooper.  Their pharmacy cares for a population of roughly 6,000 people in rural North Central Iowa and includes a specialty compounding lab that serves patients throughout Northern Iowa and Southern Minnesota. Unique services offered include Transition of Care management, Therapeutic shoes, Diabetes Prevention Program, Diabetes education program, and Clinical med-synch and adherence programs. They accept students from area colleges of pharmacy who want to expand their knowledge of an ambulatory-care, community pharmacy and learn more about entrepreneurialism in independent pharmacy.
