Dr. Renae Chesnut is the Dean of Drake University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Regardless of practice setting, Dr. Chesnut wants to serve practitioners by providing them with the inspiration, ideas, and tools so that they can advance their own practices.
Dr. Michael Andreski is an Assistant Professor of Social and Administrative Pharmacy in the department of Pharmaceutical, Biomedical, and Administrative Sciences at Drake University’s College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. At Drake University, Dr. Andreski is a dedicated teacher and hopes to make his students more aware of the operational and management side of pharmacy.
Dr. Sally Haack is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Drake University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Dr. Hacck teaches her students the importance of negotiating care to improve adherence without compromising health. This requires an entrepreneurial spirit - to persevere against odds without adequate financial and social resources to achieve better patient outcomes
Dr. Carrie Koenigsfeld is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice in Community Pharmacy at Drake University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She has been involved primarily in the development of ambulatory care services in the community pharmacy setting including an innovative practice as a Clinical Pharmacist within an Internal Medicine Clinic.
Dr. Pramod Mahajan is an Associate Professor of Pharmacology in the Pharmaceutical Sciences Department at Drake University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Dr. Mahajan's current and future research interests focus on understanding the molecular mechanisms of DNA damage and repair.
Dr. Erik Maki is an Associate Professor of Clinical Sciences in the area of Internal Medicine at Drake University's College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. One of his interests is developing new models of the pharmacy practice with a focus in transitions of care. Dr. Maki believes a pharmacist value is most evident when we are tangible to both patients and members of the healthcare team.
Dr. Shankar Munusamy is a Professor of Pharmacology and the Director of Assessment at the Drake University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Dr. Munusamy earned a B.S. and M.S. in Pharmacy from India and a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Following a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, he served as an Assistant Professor at the Qatar University College of Pharmacy.
Dr. Nelson is the current Assistant Dean of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management He earned his B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Washington, and his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota. Michael brings experience in facilitating student leadership, developing new programs, serving as an academic administrator and overseeing student services.
Dr. Charles Phillips is a Professor of Pharmacy Administration at Drake University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Dr. Phillips continues to model leadership for students, faculty and staff through his ongoing involvement in the profession of pharmacy at the university, state and national levels.
Dr. Erin Ulrich is an Assistant Professor of Social and Administrative Sciences at Drake University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Her interests within entrepreneurism lie in sustainable business models for rural area. Dr. Ulrich feels all students and faculty deserve to have a platform for creative inquiry and support to grow their practice through entrepreneurism.
