A major in Health Sciences from Drake University can take you in many different directions. The program is built to provide our students with a strong foundation for virtually any career in healthcare. Whether you choose the Clinical and Medical Sciences, the Health Care Administration, or the major, you’ll find a variety of options.
If you aspire to be a healthcare professional, choose from one of our optional designations below. With the help of your academic advisor, you can tailor the Health Sciences major to include the pre-requisite classes you’ll need for that next step. Don’t worry if you don’t know what you want to do yet (or if you find yourself changing your mind a few times), our faculty and staff will be here to guide you.
There is no requirement to choose a designation, and it is not necessary to pursue graduate school in a professional program with a Health Sciences degree. Students also have the option to go directly into a career after graduation.
