Our curriculum emphasizes not only the fundamentals of global business but also ensures that students leave the Zimpleman College of Business with a solid knowledge of world culture, history, languages, and society that is crucial to commercial success today.

Zimpleman students will have many opportunities to study abroad, participate in programming supported by the , work with international companies and non-profits in Iowa and beyond, or engage in collaborative research with faculty and other students. For example, students have recently:

• Worked in financial services firms in Des Moines, Dubai, and Santiago
• Studied anywhere from Argentina to Vietnam
• Supported building a health clinic in Uganda
• Studied the evolution of Islamic consumer markets
