Study abroad programs provide opportunities for learning that are critical to the education of American college students and, over the long term, to the ability of the United States to lead responsibly, collaborate abroad, and compete effectively in a global arena. (NAFSA, 2007)
With study abroad becoming increasingly popular, thousands of study abroad programs are available in almost every habitable nook and cranny of the world. With this extensive variety of choices, how can students decide on the right program for them?
Drake works with select accredited international institutions and reputable study abroad organizations to ensure the manageability of choices, quality of advising, and overall familiarity with programming details such as orientation, housing, academics, etc. This allows Drake to provide study-abroad opportunities in over 50 different countries. Students can choose to study abroad for a semester, academic year, summer, or during the January term.
We highly recommend working with Global Engagement to find an approved program that best suits your needs personally, professionally, and academically. Visit the Study Abroad webpage for more information about programs.
