The Drake Law Library provides a variety of services to Iowa practicing attorneys and the judiciary.
Photocopy Service: Attorneys may borrow a guest scanning card at the Information Desk that allows them to use the self-service scanners in the library.
Borrowing Privileges: The Drake Law Library extends borrowing privilegesto Iowa attorneys. Materials may be renewed as long as other patrons do not need them.
Reference Assistance: Basic reference assistance is available during normal business hours. If an immediate answer is not possible, a follow-up response normally can be expected within a few hours.
Westlaw’s Citator Service: Computers in the Law Library lobby provide free access toWestlaw Campus Research, which includes KeyCite, a service for cite-checking. Ask for assistance at the Information Desk.
State Law Library
Legal researchers are welcome to use the State Law Library of Iowa on the second floor of the State Capitol Building. In addition to print materials, the library offers multiple Westlaw public access workstations.

Drake Law Library Association
Membership in the Drake Law Library Association includes special services, such as expedited photocopy service, interlibrary loan service, and special parking permits.
