Industry Leader: Drake recognizes the critical need for improved methods for teaching literacy and as a result, has developed Iowa's only master's degree in literacy education to advance and improve the issue in the state.

Flexibility: In addition to a master's degree, the program gives you the option of completing a reading endorsement or a reading specialist endorsement.

Convenient Scheduling: Courses are held on evenings and weekends, so you can complete the degree while you work full time.

Personalized Instruction: Courses are taught on Drake’s campus by faculty members who are experts in their fields.

Technology Enhanced: Web-based activities and discussions supplement on-campus courses.
