Viewing from Home

If you're following along at home, you'll first need to make sure you have set up your computer to run App Inventor.

You will need to have a registered gmail account.  If you don't have one, go to www.google.com and click "Sign In" followed by "create an account for free"

Next, follow the directions here to set up your computer. This will involve downloading java (if necessary) and the App Inventor software. All of these things are absolutely free, and you don't need an Android device to start programming!
