Students also can work on the award-winning campus publications: The Times-Delphic, Drake Magazine, and Drake Broadcasting System programming, including a streaming radio station. There is also a humor magazine and a literary journal.

SJMC students frequently do communications work for Drake Athletics and University Communications and Marketing, and are active in student government and residence life.

Students have the opportunity to provide content for ESPN3. SJMC students’ annual live coverage of the Drake Relays is the nation’s oldest, largest, student-run broadcast.
