Symphonic Band

The Drake University Symphonic Band is dedicated to the performance of the finest symphonic band repertoire. Comprised of students from throughout the Drake University community, this ensemble is open to all Drake students through audition.

The band presents three on-campus performances per year and is designed to assist students with the continued development of their musicianship and ensemble skills.

Auditions for all Drake Bands are held within the first month of the fall semester.

Meeting Times: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 4:00pm-5:30pm (fall semester); Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00pm-3:20pm (spring semester)
