spēro is Drake University's most select choral ensemble, with membership drawn from the Drake Choir. spēro performs on campus at least four times each year. The ensemble tours regionally each spring and internationally every four years. In January 2018 the choir performed throughout England, singing at St. Paul’s Cathedral and St. Martin-in-the-Fields in London, at Cambridge University, the Old Naval College Chapel in Greenwich, and the cathedrals of Coventry and Ely.
