Scholarships are awarded through the Global Learning Scholarship Committee to support Drake students' participation in education abroad opportunities around the world.
These scholarships are designed to enable students to reach their full potential as responsible global citizens. The Nelson Institute scholarships support students in the following academic programs: International Relations, International Business, Language minors, East Asian Studies, Latin American Studies, and Global and Comparative Health. Nearly all scholarships are financial need based but have slightly different selection criteria. Students may apply for Drake Global Learning Scholarships through the online application for their study abroad program.
