Drake University requires a parking permit for all Drake parking lots. Visitors or students can purchase short-term passes online if an annual or semester permit is not needed. Permits should be printed and placed on the dashboard of your car.

Park Mobile

Park Mobile logoDrake also uses ParkMobile to offer users multiple ways to pay for metered parking in our visitor lots (Lot 1A by the Dial Center and Lot 20 by Aliber Hall).

Ways to Pay

  • Pay by App: The full-featured app for iOS and Android provides the most complete parking experience.
  • Pay by Web: New lightweight mobile web experience lets you quickly pay for parking without downloading the full app.
  • Pay by Text: Text “PARK” to 77223 and you will be able to quickly start a parking session.
  • Google Pay: Pay with ParkMobile right in the Google Pay app. Plus, quick links from Google Maps make it easy to navigate and start a parking session.
  • Register for a ParkMobile account: with your license plate number and payment method.
  • Pay by Phone: Call the toll-free number on the ParkMobile sign posted in the lots.
