The Office of the Registrar supports students throughout their academic journey at Drake University—from course registration and academic records to graduation and beyond. Whether you’re planning your schedule, tracking degree progress, requesting transcripts, or preparing for commencement, the registrar provides accurate information and guidance every step of the way.
Included in our responsibilities are:
- Producing student transcripts
- Creating each semester's schedule of classes
- Conducting registration each semester
- Scheduling classrooms
- Evaluating transfer credits - (See how your credits transfer in to Drake)
- Processing grades
- Planning and executing part of the commencement ceremonies
- Providing degree and enrollment verifications
- Maintaining all student records
