Scholarships
ROTC offers competitive, merit‑based scholarship opportunities to qualified students. Scholarships may help offset the cost of college and are awarded based on academic performance, leadership potential, physical fitness, and career interests.
ROTC Scholarship
ROTC Scholarships allow you to complete your degree at little to no cost in exchange for a *service obligation after graduation. ROTC scholarships will provide:
- 100% tuition and fees
- Books ($1,200/year, or $600/semester)
- Monthly tax-free stipend during the school year ($300-500/month)
Some schools offer additional incentives for scholarship winners (i.e., free room and board, out-of-state tuition waivers, etc.) Please contact us if you have specific questions about the scholarship and commitment obligations.

*Service Obligation:
Your total service obligation will be eight years (the first four years are active duty) At the completion of your four years you may elect to continue on active duty or enter the Army Reserves/National Guard for the remaining four years.
*Please note: Completing ROTC and receiving the ROTC Scholarship does not guarantee an Army nursing position after graduation. Graduates may be assigned to a different field depending on Army service needs. Graduates who complete the ROTC program are expected to fulfill their service obligation, regardless which position or field they are assigned.
