• Taught elementary, middle and high school students in California for 14 years
• Taught in Dr. Barbara Clark’s University Enrichment School for five years
• Taught in Dr. Carolyn Callahan’s UVA Summer Enrichment School for Gifted 5 years
• Adjunct Professor at the University of Virginia for 15 years teaching the Virginia Gifted Endorsement Series
• “Teacher of the Year” three times while teaching special populations and 2e gifted students
• Gifted and Talented specialist for the Norfolk Public Schools for 20 years
• Presented at the World Council Gifted for Gifted Talented Conference in Barcelona on the Identification and Needs of Special Populations of Gifted Children
