Drake's School of Education offers undergraduate degrees in both elementary and secondary education in a wide variety of content areas. Students gain experience in the classroom beginning in their first semester and master a variety of methods of instruction and assessment in courses that can lead to teacher certification in any state.

The School of Education offers a strong professional program with a solid foundation in the arts and sciences, providing knowledge and perspective for disciplines taught in schools.

The best way to get to know Drake is to visit! Spend time with us on our beautiful, 150-acre campus. Take a student-led tour, talk to an admission counselor, explore the residence halls and facilities, have lunch with students, talk to faculty, sit in on a class, and check out a Bulldog game. And, no matter what else you do, ask lots of questions.

Don't have to sweat the test. Drake test-flexible application gives you the choice of applying with an ACT/SAT score foregoing testing and instead taking part in an interview. We are looking for smart interesting inspired and inspirational individuals who can help shape Drake's campus culture as we move into the future—and test scores only tell a part of the story.
