Three and Teach

The Three and Teach Accelerated Track allows students interested in pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Elementary or Secondary Education to fast track their courses and start teaching sooner.

Students entering this track under the BS: Ed, Elementary Education or BS: Ed, Secondary Education programs will complete all of their coursework in their first three years, begin student teaching in year four, and graduate at the end of that semester.

This enables students to earn their degree in just three and a half years and begin their careers as fully-certified educators.

Three and Teach Requirements

To qualify for the Three and Teach Accelerated Track, students need:

• 15 or more AP or college credits
• A 3.5 or above GPA

To complete a program via the Three and Teach Accelerated Track students must fulfill:

• Drake general curriculum requirements
• School of Education (SOE) curriculum requirements
• One or more full endorsement requirements
