Internships

Internships provide students with real-world experience, allowing them to make valuable contributions to companies while developing important skills to add to their resumes.

A majority of students complete more than one major-related experience prior to graduation. Throughout the year, many events are held to connect students with employers. In addition, the Handshake system allows students to view current job openings nationwide. Most internships are completed during the summer; however, there are plenty of opportunities in the Des Moines community for one to work during the fall or spring semester.
