The Center for Professional Studies is one of the Drake University entities that provides leadership and support for the Young African Leaders Initiative Mandela Fellowship program. This six week summer program of study engages university faculty and staff along with metro/state business, nonprofit and public sector leaders. The program provides an exciting and unique learning experience for 25 young, but already successful business and entrepreneurial leaders from nations in sub-Saharan Africa.

Lodging information - Rooms have been reserved for this event at the Holiday Inn Express located within walking distance to Drake University. To reserve your room, call 515-255-4000 and ask for the Homesteader's Life block when making your reservation to secure the $99 + tax per night rate. The block of rooms will be held in reserve until August 28th at which time they will be released for sale to the public.
