The Office of Marketing and Communications oversees the University’s strategic communications and marketing strategies.
In addition to managing news media relations, internal communications and institutional advertising, staff members in the office work with each of Drake’s schools, colleges and key administrative offices. The staff develops comprehensive communication and marketing strategies to help University clients identify reputation-defining messages that coincide with Drake’s key messages.
The marketing team meets with faculty and staff to determine key ideas and themes, target audiences and appropriate communication tools — including brochures, ads, Web sites and news releases.
