Academic Success Program

Integrated Study Group (“ISG”) is an interactive program that focuses on helping first-year students develop the reading, synthesizing, and analytical skills necessary for success in law school and practicing law. ISG strives to foster students’ professional identity, including  meaningful connections with other law students and sustainable wellbeing practices.

The Director of Academic Success is always available to meet individually with any student seeking to improve study skills, to identify problems interfering with academic performance, and to provide guidance and recommendations for future academic success.

The Drake Law Library faculty and staff compiled a guide to study aids, how to use them, and how to access them in Drake Law Library's print and online collections.

Student Success BINGO is a fun way to identify and get to know the people and resources at Drake Law School that can help you start on the path to a successful law school career. Complete and mark off five tasks to fill a row, column, or diagonal and be entered in a raffle to win some great prizes. Each BINGO earns one entry in the raffle. A fully-filled card ears six entries. Multiple entries are permitted.

Submit written tasks and completed BINGO cards on the ISG Blackboard page. Open to first-year students. Raffle drawings held Oct. 30 and Nov. 30; two winners in each drawing.  Prize: $100 in Bulldog Bucks.
