Community Engagement Resume Builders

As we near the end of the semester, I always recommend that students put their community engagement experience on their resume! These experiences can help build skills that many employers are looking for, and 80%+ of employers like to see that type of experience on a resume. If students want assistance on how to do this, they can reach out to Amanda Martin in the Office of Community Engaged Learning at amanda.martin@drake.edu or to the Professional and Career Development Services Office. If students are still looking for volunteer opportunities, we have had huge success with our new community engagement platform called DUgood! Students can visit www.drake.edu/dugood to find volunteer hours and to log their impact.
