Our team is here to give every Drake student the support and resources necessary to thrive in the classroom and out. However, we also know that nobody knows your child like you do. Contact us anytime to learn how we champion their health, happiness, and well-being.
For New Bulldogs and Their Families
Brilliance awaits, and for a preview, Orientation and Welcome Weekend provide a glimpse of life as a Bulldog. Incoming first-year, Bright College, and transfer students will have the opportunity to connect with faculty and peer mentors and get familiar with all resources designed to support their journey here. Parents and family, meanwhile, can sign up for the virtual first-semester series to learn more.

Academic Support
Even the best students can struggle with a class or the weightier expectations that come with college-level work. Our Office of Access and Success can help.
Parent and Family Advisory Council
As a parent, you bring an invaluable perspective about Drake. Share your insights with University leaders and meet other families as part of the Council.
Parents and Family Weekend
Take three jam-packed days to catch up with your student and experience all aspects of Drake: cheer during a football game or another athletic event, catch a concert, hear from University leadership, and get a sense of all Drake has to offer.
Resources for Parents and Families
Get info about payments, grades, accounts, and how to best assist your Bulldog. (Even if you’re paying the bills, we’re not able to share access to some records without student approval because of FERPA, the federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974.)
