Parents and Families

Parents help their student move into one of Drake's residential communitiesHelp Your Bulldog Thrive

When your child goes to college, your job as a parent changes. But you can still be an active participant in their success.

Our team is here to give every Drake student the support and resources necessary to thrive in the classroom and out. However, we also know that nobody knows your child like you do. Contact us anytime to learn how we champion their health, happiness, and well-being.

For New Bulldogs and Their Families

Brilliance awaits, and for a preview, Orientation and Welcome Weekend provide a glimpse of life as a Bulldog. Incoming first-year, Bright College, and transfer students will have the opportunity to connect with faculty and peer mentors and get familiar with all resources designed to support their journey here. Parents and family, meanwhile, can sign up for the virtual first-semester series to learn more.
