AUDITIONS
Auditions will be held Saturday, 24 August in the Coleman Studio Theatre
8:30am – Q&A with the directors – stop in if you have any questions about the audition/callback process
9:00am – Auditions begin. All auditions will be timed. Time will start from the first word/note of your audition package.
All BFA Musical Theatre majors / minors and ANYONE (including BFA Actors) wanting to be considered for FIRST DATE or LEGALLY BLONDE must prepare:
One contemporary monologue
One up-tempo contemporary musical theatre piece in the style of the musicals
Total audition time not to exceed 2-minutes
An accompanist will be provided. Please be sure to bring appropriate sheet music. All BFA Acting majors wanting to be considered for plays only must prepare:
Two contemporary monologues (1 serious, 1 comedic)
Total audition time not to exceed 90-seconds
All BFA Theatre Education majors and ANYONE else wanting to audition for plays only must prepare:
One contemporary monologue (serious or comedic)
Total audition time not to exceed 1-minute
NOTE: All BFA performance majors must prepare a complete audition package for their respective degree regardless of any schedule/course conflicts you may have. No exceptions. Just be sure to note on your audition form any conflicts that might make you ineligible to be cast in a particular production.

Saturday, 24 August – Coleman Studio Theatre

Sunday, 25 August – Coleman Studio Theatre / Movement Room
9:00am-10:00am – Dance Call for BOTH musicals
10:00am-12:00pm – LEGALLY BLONDE
12:00pm-2:00pm – FIRST DATE
2:00-5:00pm – A DOLL’S HOUSE (part 2)
5:00-8:00pm – DRACULA
Cast Lists will be posted on Monday 26 August.
Below, please find the link to our AUDITION FORM. Please read it over carefully and fill it out to the best of your ability. If we do not receive a completed audition form on or before Friday 23 August you will not be allowed to audition. If you have questions about a specific show, please contact the director of that production.
NOTE: Auditions for the Student Theatre Productions, directed by Rowan Lovering and Note Aguilar will be held separately. Information about those auditions will be communicated by Drake e-mail.
