Welcome to the Bright College Summer Bridge! Over the course of five days, this program gives incoming Bright College students immersive opportunities to connect, learn, and grow. 

During the week, you’ll alternate between interactive group work and sessions with faculty, staff, and alumni. The schedule is designed to help you build relationships, explore Drake’s academic culture, and gain the tools and confidence for success as both a Drake and Bright College student.

  • 9:00am – Puzzle Project work
  • 9:30am - Bright College Academics Overview
  • 10:00am - Student Involvement Workshop

  • 11:15pm - Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Drake

Friday, August 14
  • 9:00am – Puzzle Project wrap up
  • 9:30am - Panel with Bright College Alumni
  • 10:30am – Breakout sessions: (pick 2 out of the 4 sessions offered)
