Drake University's Office of Global Affairs provices extensive support for international admitted students and exchange student relocating to study in Des Moines, Iowa. Their goal is to make your transition to campus as smooth as posible and help answer your questions along the way.

Drake’s English as a Second Language department offers a variety of programs designed to improve English language proficiency for international students and increase their familiarity with U.S. culture. Our intermediate- and advanced-level courses are offered year-round, providing international students with the individual attention they need to enhance their academic success.
