Drake University offers a variety of international student services to support you before you arrive and during your time here on campus.

English as a Second Language

Drake’s English as a Second Language department offers a variety of programs designed to improve English language proficiency for international students and increase their familiarity with U.S. culture. Our intermediate- and advanced-level courses are offered year-round, providing international students with the individual attention they need to enhance their academic success.
