Transfer Student Registration & Orientation

Get acquainted with Drake.

Whether you choose to start your life as a Bulldog in fall or spring, we offer flexible registration and orientation options to help you select classes, meet faculty and students, find your way around campus, and learn more about the Drake experience.

Fall Enrollment

Students transferring to Drake in summer or fall term have access to class registration as early as the preceding April. You’ll meet individually with Drake’s transfer student transition advisor to review how your credits transfer to Drake and what classes you should take for your major. In August, you’ll have the option to attend an orientation session that introduces you to resources on campus and connects you to fellow transfer students.

Spring Enrollment

Students transferring to Drake in spring term have access to class registration as early as the preceding November.
