A new generation of cleaning and restoration concepts begin with Drake custodial.

Our custodial services consist of:

• Caring for our buildings using team building
• Daily disinfecting of all surfaces and restrooms
• Floor crew scheduling
• Pest control
• Centralized trash and recycling
• Summer commitments: Orientation, conferences and summer camps, and residence hall turnover
• All athletic and special events such as games, graduations, Bucksbaum lectures, Drake Relays
• Our cleaning system consists of teams that are trained in four different areas of cleaning: utility specialist, light duty specialist, vacuum specialist and restroom specialist.

Each staff member is trained in all four services to provide outstanding services to our students, facilities and the Drake community.

Using our system results in quality assurance environmentally.

•  Our backpack vacuums have increased longevity of our filters in the HVAC system and have limited the amount a dust normally found on the horizontal surfaces from using an upright vacuum with a beater bar
