The North-American Interfraternity Conference (NIC) is an association of collegiate men's fraternities that was formally organized in 1910. The Interfraternity Council (IFC) serves as the governing body for Drake's 6 fraternity chapters. These chapters include Theta Chi, Sigma Chi, Tau Kappa Epsilon, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, and Sigma Phi Epsilon.

The National Pan-Hellenic Council at Drake University is made up of the following historically Black organizations: Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.; Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.; Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.; Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Drake NPHC is committed to academic excellence, engaged service to our community, expanding council & organizational outreach programs, and celebrating Black culture on campus.

Panhellenic sororities provide a great way to engage in the Drake and Des Moines community, strengthen character, and form engaging friendships that last a lifetime. Each sorority holds different values that they show through philanthropy, scholarship, and community involvement.

Our goal is to make halls into homes. We plan inclusive events that try to reach the breadth of the student population. We take feedback and suggestions from students on what they would like to see in the events we plan.
