The Asian Student Union strives to create a safe space for students of the Asian diaspora, regardless of region or religion. We aim to talk about issues the Asian communities deal with, educate each other on our cultures and customs, and feel recognized in a predominantly white institution. Purpose: The purpose of the Asian Student Union is to offer a safe space for people of the Asian community and diaspora. It will provide the opportunity to educate others about different customs, traditions, and cultures. As Asia is an extremely diverse continent, there will be space for everybody to feel at home.
